Rehydrating Mylk Process

Step One: Add Water to Bottle

  • Add room temperature or warmed water to a pre-sterilised bottle.
  • The measurements on the pouch label will rehydrate the powder to your breastmilk original consistency.
  • Always measure water first then add the powder.
  • Never heat the water in a microwave as this can destroy the nutrients and create hot spots which can burn the babies mouth.
  • Warm water over a running tap, boiling water or on stove top.

Step Two: Add Power to Bottle

  • Tear open the pouch
  • Pour the powder directly into the bottle
  • If not using all powder, use clean dry measuring spoon/cup

Step Three: Mix It

  • Close the lid
  • Swirl the bottle around
  • Depending on the fat content it may take a while for it to dissolve completely.
  • If any clumps remain, heat the bottle under warm running water and continue to swirl.
  • Sometimes adding slightly warmer water is necessary to dissolve all the fats within the milk.
  • Ensure that the milk is not too hot for the baby.

Step Four: Feed

  • Feed your little one!
